The meaning of the word “typeface” can be taken at literal value when we talk about how things were printed before the age of computers. The word “typeface” is not used as much as the word “font” but can sometimes be interchanged but the truth of the matter is that one is not the same as the other. With the world wide spread of free fonts, font bundles, and the way computers deal with typography, “font” is the commonly used word when talking about a specific kind of type.
